The current SIGs that are available are:

HAVE YOU CARED FOR A PATIENT WITH CONFIRMED OR SUSPECTED MONKEYPOX? To assist emergency medicine professionals during this public health emergency, VisualDx, a clinical informatics company with over 20 years of providing public health solutions, is creating the Monkeypox Emergency Medicine Project in conjunction with ACEP and partner organizations including AAENP. We are asking members to contribute your confirmed monkeypox case images to the initiative. No identifying information will be collected. Images collected through the Monkeypox Emergency Medicine Project will be made freely accessible to better assist recognition, clinical care, education. It will also be made available within the VisualDx system.

By ensuring that emergency medicine professionals have access to a diverse set of clinical images, we can improve healthcare outcomes.

988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

In mid-July, the U.S. transitioned the 10-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to 988 — a three-digit number for 24/7 crisis care. The lifeline makes crisis care more easily available to those in need. Veterans, service members and their families can still reach the Veterans Crisis Line by calling 1-800-273-8255 or text to 838255. More information on 988 is available on the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline webpage.
