ENP CERTIFICATION EXAM INCENTIVE OFFERED! The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board is updating the Emergency specialty NP (ENP-C) certification examination and, for a limited time, offering a 2-for-1 incentive. We are seeking the help of ALL eligible candidates to sit for the ENP exam between January 2 and February 14, 2023. Your exam score and certification will be available after March 1, 2023. Did you know that AAENP is advocating nationally for your work?


Through our work with the Nursing Community Coalition, AAENP has recently supported the following letters (with others to be sent by the end of this month).


• On October 26, AAENP joined fifty-seven members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) in signing onto a letter thanking House Nursing Congress Co-Chairs, Reps. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-40) and David Joyce (R-OH-14) for introducing the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (I CAN) Act (H.R. 8812).

Letter to Appropriations Committees for Funding Requests  On September 15, AAENP along with sixty-two NCC members sent a letter to the House and Senate Appropriations Committees requesting at least $324.472 million for Title VIII Nursing Workforce and Development Programs and at least $208.571 million for the National Institute of Nursing Research for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 as outlined in the House Appropriations Committee passed bill.

Letter to Congress Outlining Top Legislative Priorities  On September 26, sixty-two members of the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) signed onto a letter urging Congress to pass top legislative priorities impacting our current and future nursing workforce before the end of the 117th Congress.
