In partnership with our colleagues at the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) an with AKH Inc (Advancing Knowledge in Healthcare), our members have access to a new opportunity to help DEA-licensed healthcare practitioners satisfy the eight-hour training requirement on the treatment and management of opioid or other substance use disorders mandated by the Medication Access and Training Expansion (MATE) Act.

These CE accredited webinar-based activities can be purchased individually or as a 4-activity package (a $40 savings). Each activity is accredited and has its own Continuing Education certificate. When packaged together, the 4 activities award 8.50 credits, more than the requirement needed to maintain DEA licensure. All content is on-demand so learners can access at their convenience.

The education does not have to occur in one session–it can be cumulative across multiple sessions. CE activities listed on this page can be taken in any combination to fulfill the eight-hour requirement. Please see detailed information on CE options for these activities here.

Journal Club! The next Journal Club will meet Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. PST (8 pm EST) on Zoom. Registration is available on the AAENP homepage. Topics for discussion include giant cell arteritis and a review of updated COVID-19 management guidelines.
