SAFETY FIRST! HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR LADDERS LATELY?

March is National Ladder Safety Month which should remind us that we should be careful when using ladders. Ladders are close to the top of the list on employee injury frequency, so it’s a great time for a little refresher with your staff!

  1. You should always maintain a 3-point contact (two hands + one foot or two feet + one hand) when climbing

  2. Never use the top rung of a ladder

  3. Make sure the ladder is in proper working order

  4. Never use a ladder in disrepair
