RISK MANAGEMENT & SAFETY CERTIFICATION

The Risk Management & Safety Facility Certification Program was developed by IBPSA to help the association’s Members adhere to best practices for risk management and safety, reduce losses, and provide a certifiably safe environment for staff and pets, also ensuring confidence in customers that their pets are in one of the safest places possible.

This particular certification is unique in the pet care services industry as its focus is on a safe facility environment to protect both pets and people. It’s about things as small as exposed electrical wires that a pup could chew on and as big as emergency preparedness in the face of natural disasters.

IBPSA Members can learn more about the program by downloading the free Risk & Safety Certification Application booklet, which is located in the Resources section of the Member InfoHub. There is a $100 application fee, payable following submission of the application form.
