MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) has compiled eight sector-specific reports by industry experts to offer insights into what lies ahead for Wisconsin's economy in 2025. The reports — available at wisbank.com/2025forecast — include insights from:
- Rose Oswald Poels, Wisconsin Bankers Association,
- Robb Kahl, Construction Business Group,
- Bradley Uken, Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation,
- Mike Semmann, Wisconsin Grocers Association,
- Eric Borgerding, Wisconsin Hospital Association,
- Kurt Bauer, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce,

In her report, WBA President and CEO Rose Oswald Poels highlights the stability of Wisconsin's banking industry while expressing concern over burdensome federal regulations. "The banking industry is entering 2025 with a mixture of hope and hesitation," she says. "While the year may bring incremental changes rather than sweeping transformations, Wisconsin banks remain well capitalized to support the local needs of their customers and communities."
