Three (3) Proposed Bylaws Amendments

The Nominating Committee and Board of Directors conduct regular reviews of the WSAE Bylaws. There are three (3) proposed bylaws amendments that will be acted on during the 2024 WSAE Annual Business Meeting. These actions are intended to:
- Bylaws Amendment #1: Change the position of President/CEO to reference the firm or individual contracted to provide association management services.
- Bylaws Amendment #2: Provide for Board of Directors oversight of Nominating Committee draft slate.
- Bylaws Amendment #3: Clarify actions related to Board absences.

Ho-Chunk Nation Breaks Ground on Beloit Casino Resort Project
BELOIT, Wis. – The largest economic development project in the history of Beloit is now officially underway. Ho-Chunk Nation representatives joined numerous Beloit representatives and residents on October 25, 2024 to ceremoniously begin the construction of Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit; which includes a 76,413 square foot convention center, a 18-story hotel with 312 rooms, a casino, and four restaurants.
